Meet Meda. She eats people. Well, their souls to be precise. She doesn't know anyone else of her kind, so what's a bad-ass bitch to do? Feel no remorse, obviously. Or so she thought until she met Chi, Jo, and Uri.
She follows the three righteous crusaders onto their home turf in hopes of learning more about her self. While she does that, she also gains a heart, kinda, and does indeed learn a lot about herself, but nothing she could ever imagine beyond her wildest dreams.
I'd like to honestly give Cracked 5 stars because it honestly was hilarious and witty like no book has ever been. SO FRESH. Unfortunately, it was the most predictable book I've read in a very long time. No plot twists or anything new. A typical "demons are evil and God's people are good" book. We all knew who Meda's father would be from pretty much the first 50 pages. Let's be honest, anyone with a decent background in YA fiction would have known.
Jo, what a bitch, but also a loving one.
Chi needs some brains but he's fun.
Uri. I just can't. YOU JUST HAVE TO READ THIS BOOK TO UNDERSTAND.
Armande was a fun character for the entire chapter he was there and I desperately hope we see more of him in book two.
Edit: read the second book and we definitely see more of this guy. Boy is he fun. Seriously, read this book so you can read the second one which is even better. It's called Crushed.
